Description:

This shapefile represents areas that would be expected to be inundated by tsunamis generated by scenario earthquakes. The areas are identified by numerical models that are adjusted for local topography or paleoseismic data. The areas for which data are shown include parts of the shorelines of Pacific, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Clallam, Island, King, Skagit, and Whatcom Counties, Washington. These data were developed for three different earthquake scenarios, identified as Cascadia subduction zone (CSZ) scenario1A, scenario 1A with asperity, and the Seattle fault scenario.
