description:
|
Sea water intrusion risk created from assessing a well’s water level elevation and chloride concentrations. Low water level elevation creates higher risk of sea water intrusion and even more elevated with chloride concentrations. While data is a product of the wells feature class the attributes explaining the parameters of each well are not included in the dataset. Horizontal accuracy ranges from either GPS located wells to PLSS Section level accuracy, accuracy could range from a few feet to a half a mile (2,640ft). Information regarding older wells derived from Water Supply Bulletin 25. Water quality data from Washington State Dept. of Health and permit applications. Sea water intrusion risk is from a model developed by Doug Kelly using the two parameters of water level elevation and chloride concentration. |
