This data layer is compiled of several data sources - each with their own accuracy. Whidbey Tel Phone Peds found along or near Island County maintained roads (non-private and non-highway). Data given to Public Works by Whidbey Tel via an excel spreadsheet with coordinate information which was turned into this data layer. Phone Peds that were not located within 50' of a county road were removed from the dataset. Data is expected to be accurate within 25 feet. PSE Power Vaults were selected within 80' of the road from the larger dataset that covered Island County. Original accuracy of features was not provided, but estimated to be within 25 feet. PSE data was derived from as-built drawings from the Maps and Records Department. |
