In other cases, we know what parcel the well is on, but not where on the parcel it is located. Some wells have been physically GPS’d, or we have scaled site plan maps that were used to place the well location on the parcel. Unless the well has been surveyed, land surface elevations are taken from a DEM based on the well XY coordinates. Well data primarily derived from water well reports (AKA well logs).
