<abstract>This data is a collection of orthorectified aerial imagery. The orthorectified imagery was delivered in uncompressed tiled 8-bit GeoTIFF format (4band RGBI) and tiled Gen4 MrSIDs at a compression of 10:1. The data was produced at the request of Island County Public Works by The Sanborn Map Company of Colorado Springs. This orthorectified imagery has a pixel resolution of 0.25'. The data was collected between August 22 and August 27th 2020 using an UltraCam Eagle camera. This data has a coordinate system of NAD_1983_2011_StatePlane_Washington_North_FIPS_4601_Ft_US.</abstract>
<purpose>This digital orthoimagery can serve a variety of purposes, from general planning to field reference for spatial analysis to a tool for revision of vector maps. It can also serve as a reference layer for GIS.</purpose>

<logic>Since the ortho images are raster products, the logical consistency is based on how well the images fit between image tiles and between individual photo frames use to produce the ortho mosaics.</logic>
<complete>The 1572 ortho image tiles are checked for missing pixels, gaps, overlaps and other anomalies generally associated with digital orthophoto products. Any discrepancies in the ortho tiles are resolved through the use of proprietary and industry editing tools. Once the images are copied to the deliverable media they are further checked for naming, image completeness, and ability to be loaded in ArcMap.</complete>

<procdesc>The Digital Natural Color aerial imagery was acquired in August 2020 using a Microsoft Ultracam Eagle sensor flown at a nominal height of 3500' AGL (Above Ground Level). GNSS/IMU data was also collected and processed using POSPac (version 8.4) Mobile Mapping Suite . The Ground Control used to support the 4-band ortho-imagery production was collected by identifying and surveying photo identifiable points (PID), and using existing PIDs. The Aerial Triangulation (AT) was performed using UltraMap and Inpho Match-AT software. Digital Elevation Models (DEM) used for ortho imagery production was derived from 2020 lidar model keypoint ground class data. The images were then orthorectified using Inpho OrthoMaster software. Color balancing, seamless mosaicking was performed by automatic seam line creation steps, and final extractions were also accomplished using Inpho OrthoVista software. The imagery product deliverables are GeoTIFF images with embedded header information describing the required projection, pixel size, tile size and other related data and corresponding world files (.tfw). </procdesc>
